What We’re Playing Right Now (And What’s Coming Next)

At Brother Smash HQ, we’re always balancing two worlds: the stuff we play for pure fun, and the mountain of games we’re excited to share with all of you. Here’s a little peek behind the curtain at what we’ve got going on right now:



▶ Wrapping Up the Legend

We’re nearing the end of our Zelda 1 series — it’s been a wild ride, full of discoveries, questionable decisions, and probably more chaos than Link ever signed up for. Thanks for sticking with us!


▶ The Sonic Avalanche

We’ve got a whole heap of Sonic content in the pipeline. Some of it’s already filmed and tentatively scheduled, including:


  • Sonic Heroes

  • Sonic Adventure 1

  • Sonic Frontiers


    • (And coming soon… we’re planning to record Shadow Generations. We honestly can’t wait to see what kind of nonsense that one brings out in us.)


▶ Persona, Pinball, and Other Surprises

Look out for Persona 4 soon, along with Pokémon Pinball and a few secret projects we hope will catch you off guard (in the best way possible).


▶ What We’re Playing Off-Camera

When we’re not editing footage from as far back as nine (!) years ago, we do still sneak in some personal game time:


  • Abs is currently playing:

    • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with friends (when his poor arthritic hands are feeling up to the task!)


  • Dandoo’s currently playing:

    • Split Fiction

    • Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life


▶ The Goofiest of Them All

We’re both super excited for everyone to eventually see how wonderfully absurd our Melee recordings turned out. It’s one of those rare moments where we both truly forgot that we were recording and just went off the rails.


▶ The Dream List

Long-term, we’d love to record playthroughs of Final Fantasy VIII and Etrian Odyssey III. They’re both games we’ve wanted to share with each other — and now, hopefully, with you!
